Candidate for GRAND PRIX 2025 in CSR category – Tigar Tyres – "It's not funny, it's important''

During this year's Gala evening, which will take place on March 20, we will organize the traditional Grand Prix CCIFS awards ceremony

" It's not funny, it's important'' is a campaign we launched during European Mobility Week, in addition to participating in the Safety Caravan and marking Car-Free Day. Specifically, a total of 416 first-grade students, the youngest traffic participants in Pirot, received helmets for safe riding and fluorescent vests, which are also essential traffic safety gear, through a joint initiative of the Traffic Police in Pirot and with the "sweet support" of Frikom. A quiz-presentation was organized for all the children, reminding them and their parents how to safely get to school and return home, as even a moment of inattention can have tragic consequences.

Everyone agreed that such campaigns are valuable because continuous education of the youngest is essential, as well as constant reminders to parents to take proper care of their children. It is also important for educators to devote sufficient time to safety, and for the media to raise awareness across the entire community. In this way, together, we contribute to achieving the Republic of Serbia’s Traffic Safety Strategy, aiming for zero child casualties in traffic by 2030.

As part of the local community support project, Growing Together, one of the key areas is improving traffic safety. In 2023, the company also supported the City of Pirot’s Traffic Safety Council and distributed 150 baby car seats. All traffic lights in Pirot are a donation from our company, and in previous years, during the Family Health and Safety Day, special emphasis was placed on educating various target groups involved in traffic. All of these initiatives share the same goal: to increase traffic culture in our community.
